It gives us great pleasure to introduce Mrs. Shaidy Fernandez, whom you all know very well, as the new Principal of Allison Academy. We are confident that she will excel in her new role, as she has been working on the advancement of Allison Academy with her colleagues for many years.
Mrs.
Shaidy Fernandez is a Florida State Certified Teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership from Florida International University. Throughout her career, Mrs. Fernandez has tutored and mentored students at all educational levels, helping them reach their full potential and achieve their academic goals.
Comprehensive knowledge and various fields of interest
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in English, Mrs. Fernandez continued her educational journey pursuing a master’s degree, which proves her dedication to education and professional development. Therefore, it is no surprise that she was chosen to be one of the key people to guarantee the successful and quality functioning of Allison Academy, a place where we all share the same vision – top-quality education for our students.
Mrs. Fernandez joined Allison Academy as a Language Arts teacher, imparting her love of literature and language upon her students. She also taught Spanish and served as the leader of Student Council, advising students on the organization of school-wide events, fundraisers, drives, and community projects. More recently, Mrs. Fernandez assumed the role of Registrar and assisted the principal in planning, organizing, and developing functions essential for student growth, success, and an outstanding educational program.
How will Mrs. Fernandez improve Allison Academy?
Mrs. Fernandez along with the Allison Academy faculty and staff are highly committed and dedicated to the constant improvement of services provided to students, parents, and our community. As Principal of Allison Academy, Mrs. Fernandez strives to maintain positive relationships with students and their families to increase student achievement and parental involvement. She aims to foster a positive learning community marked by educational excellence, support, integrity, and diversity. Taking all this into account, it’s evident that as Principal, Shaidy Fernandez will contribute to the quality of this school even further.
Mrs. Fernandez conveys her ideas on the importance of education and personal development to younger generations fostering leadership, grit, and perseverance in our students in addition to the academic education offered by Allison Academy. She is also a mother of two – a son and a daughter who cannot wait to get to the 6th grade so they can join Allison Academy.
