The previous school year presented another exciting journey, both for our staff and students, filled with contemporary teaching, a great variety of inspiring school projects, traditional school celebrations, exploration, visits, friendships, and fun activities in an inspiring environment for ambitious young people who strive towards high academic goals.

Allison Academy is a future-ready school that is always up to date with modern technologies which play an important role in education. This year we’ve presented our new Computer lab and IT room! Allison Academy students have the chance to use fully equipped IT rooms to develop their technical skills and acquire necessary digital knowledge for future studies and employment!
Rememberable Spirit Week at Allison Academy
Spirit Weeks are always an occasion for students to make learning incredibly fun by creating occasions for students to express themselves, practice, and show off their creativity, by representing the school values of unity and positivity that are characteristic of our environment! Last Spirit Week was a great success! Our students surprised us with unique costumes presenting different themes daily and they had a chance to enjoy snacks and divergent afternoon activities!
Top three prizes for our students at the “Drop Savers Poster Contest”!
The incredible artwork of our students was recognized – winning the top three places at the “Drop Savers Poster Contest” in the city of North Miami Beach! We are especially happy and proud of our students and their leader Mrs. Milner for this great success, which confirms the value of our art program at Allison Academy. Congratulations to all students who participated and won by expressing the importance of water conservation through exceptional pieces of art!
Reflecting on what we’re thankful for and helping those in need - an extra memorable Thanksgiving Feast!
This year’s Thanksgiving was especially significant, because it was our first Thanksgiving Feast since the beginning of COVID-19, and everyone used the opportunity to be thankful and celebrate more than before! Everyone at Allison Academy shared gratitude and participated in donating to help those in need, which is essential for maintaining the Allison spirit! All present enjoyed a joyful atmosphere and abundant feast, thanks to our students and their parents who prepared delicious meals. We are thankful for all the families who entrust their child’s education, health, and well-being to our faculty and staff at Allison Academy!
Students made the prime decisions for the future with the Career Readiness program
The most important policy of Allison Academy is providing the best education for our students, through contemporary school programs, leading to acquiring and developing skills and knowledge that are essential for successfully managing any future desired careers! As a part of our Career Readiness program, we regularly invite various presenters and speakers from different local and international universities, colleges, and institutes to present their programs with the aim of helping students make important decisions about their future careers, according to their personal preferences and individual capabilities.
New Allison Academy leaders have been chosen!
Allison Academy strives to aspire students to become future leaders, by joining the ranks of the Student Council and running for an official position! Every year, students have a chance to promote their skills like leadership, communication, teamwork, organization, debating skills, and public speaking, through incredibly creative student campaigns presented on Election day. This year, the candidates had amazing speeches and ideas, and were greeted with widespread enthusiasm from their peers who have carefully chosen the new Student Council representatives! We are looking forward to our new candidates who will impersonate Allison Academy students’ best interests!
Creativity, spookiness and fun activities as determinants of the Halloween celebration
Every year, Allison Academy provides special activities for students to celebrate the international holiday – Halloween! Celebrating holidays is very important for social development, encouraging and expressing creativity through imaginative costumes, and playing around in students’ chosen spooky alter-egos!
Raising awareness about law enforcement: A visit by Miami Dade
At Allison Academy, we place great importance on making our students an active part of the community through creating numerous opportunities for students to gain a better understanding of the local community and establish positive relationships outside school! We were more than happy to host The Miami Dade Police Department from the City of North Miami Beach, who shared real-world lessons and discussed relevant issues to raise awareness about law enforcement. Students had a chance to improve their perception of the criminal justice system, engage with the officers, learn about their day-to-day training, ask questions about their experiences and work, weapons, and even try on their work gear!
Allison Academy dance hall turned into True Winter Wonderland
Everyone had the opportunity to showcase their dance moves and listen to their favorite tracks rocking glimmery dresses and white outfits to represent another festive and joyful Winter Formal event! Hallways were crowded with positive energy from our students, parents, and faculty who enjoyed the magical winter atmosphere underneath flashing lights and snowflakes falling!
Preparing for a bright academic future - Taking the PSAT test at Allison Academy
The end of the school year is reserved for college preparation and the best opportunity to identify the strong points and weaknesses of students’ knowledge, identify their shortcomings, and work on improving, is by taking the PSAT, which stands for “Preliminary Scholarship Aptitude Test”. Allison Academy students are known for their strong academic preparation, distinctive talents, and outstanding performance in standardized tests, which are a direct result of the good preparation that our school gives through different activities!
Joyful music and pure holiday vibes: Annual Holiday Show performances
The Annual Holiday Show performance is a regularly scheduled event at our school when Allison Academy’s choir members put an effort to make an outstanding performance of holiday classics, wonderfully serenading their peers, parents, and faculty members! The choir members made sure to deliver to the spectators the best choice of Christmas carols, like the commonly known song – “Last Christmas”, which put everyone who attended the show in the highest holiday spirits and spread the Christmas atmosphere over the whole school!
