As an institution that values a well-rounded education, learning goes beyond the classroom. Allison Academy recognizes the importance of providing opportunities for students to explore the world, learn new skills, and build lasting connections. This is why, in addition to academic pursuits, Allison Academy also organizes fun and engaging activities to promote community, teamwork, and personal growth. In this weekly news, we highlighted two recent events that exemplify the school’s commitment to both education and fun: the arrival of students in Europe for an immersive learning experience and the school-wide bowling trip that brought together students and faculty for a day of friendly competition.
Bonjour, Europe! Allison Academy Arrives for an immersive learning experience
Allison Academy is starting off the week with exciting news: our students and Mr. Vargas have safely arrived in Europe and are now exploring the beautiful continent! From Italy to France, and Spain, students are getting an incredible chance to be immersed in a rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and history. They already started exploring new places, trying new cuisines, and having a great time with their peers and teachers. This trip is an opportunity for our students to broaden their horizons and learn about the world, but it is also a chance for them to form lifelong friendships and create a sense of community that will last long after they return home. We wish them all the best in their travels and cannot wait to hear about all the amazing experiences they have had!
Strikes, spares, and smiles: Allison Academy's bowling trip
To break the monotony of daily routine, we organized a school-wide field trip to the local bowling alley. Students and faculty alike put on their bowling shoes, picked up their balls, and let loose in friendly competition. Amidst the cheers, laughter, and strike dances, we all had an absolute blast as we bowled our hearts out, knocking down pins left and right. The outing was not only a refreshing break from the classroom but also a great way to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among students and staff.
