Through research, hard work and dedication, our students are given the chance to make informed decisions about their future, while our staff and community members are able to give back in meaningful ways. It is wonderful to see our students and staff come together to create something extraordinary and to make a positive impact on the world. A once-in-a-lifetime adventure: students and Mr. Vargas embark on an international journey
After months of anticipation, our group of eight students and Mr. Vargas have finally made their way to the airport to begin their international journey! Students are filled with joy and excitement as we embark on this adventure, and we cannot wait to explore the wonders that await us. They all are anticipating the sights, sounds and cultures we will experience on our travels. And even now, as you are reading this, they are already exploring Europe. This trip will undoubtedly be one that none of them will ever forget!
Community comes together for another successful blood drive at Allison Academy
We are thrilled to report that Allison Academy’s blood drive was a huge success! Our community once again showed their compassion and generosity by coming together to donate blood and help those in need. We are immensely proud of our students and staff for their dedication and hard work in organizing this event and for their willingness to give back to their community. This blood drive has once again demonstrated the incredible power of our collective efforts and we are filled with gratitude for the support and kindness of our community. We cannot thank everyone enough for their generosity and for their selfless acts of kindness.
Evoking students’ imaginations in art classes
Every week, Mrs. Milner’s art students are exploring new ways to express themselves and their ideas through the knowledge and techniques they have acquired in art classes. The students are honing their skills and creating beautiful works of art that show off their creativity and imagination. It’s inspiring to see how the students have taken the creative techniques they have learned throughout this whole school year and applied them to create stunning pieces of art. Making the right choice: Students get a deeper insight into college options
Our senior social science class has reached the next level of learning – they have a task to research the colleges and universities of their choice and create informative and creative posters to showcase their findings! This unique class is helping our students gain a better understanding of the college search process and the best options for continuing their education. After this interesting class, our students have a greater insight into the college search process and are better equipped to make the best decision for their future. Allison Academy is proud to be part of this journey with our students and we are here to guide them every step of the way!
