Allison Academy students, parents, faculty and staff are saying goodbye to 2021 in style! Although the year is coming to a close, this week was filled with culminating events and activities to remember.
An exciting photo-finish!
It is never boring at Allison Academy; this last week of the first semester was full of excitement as finishing touches were put to this particularly productive term. Students’ progress in robotics programming and coding was evident this week, as robots marched up and down our hallways making right and left turns to reach their destination – the principal’s office. Showing the true Allison camaraderie, students cheered each other on and applauded each other’s success.
Later on, the chorus students put on a most wonderful, high-spirited Holiday performance, caroling holiday classics to students, parents, and faculty members. Through their practice and hard work, these students ensure that they deliver strong performances time after time. Spectators joined in on the fun singing, clapping, dancing, and encouraging the performers.
Student council leaders once again led a Holiday Toy Drive, motivating other students to help out those in need during this season. Giant gift-wrapped boxes filled with all the toys collected were delivered to a local shelter by Mrs. Horowitz and student volunteers. This way, the true humanitarian spirit of Allison Academy’s students was on point for the great finish of the year!
