Allison Academy’s Web Design class recently gave students a chance to flex their creativity and entrepreneurial skills through an engaging, hands-on project. Tasked with designing mock websites on poster boards, students developed unique company concepts and organized their “webpages” using different sections of the board as individual tabs.
Creating Visual Structure and Organization
Through this activity, students learned how to effectively structure and manage content, a crucial skill for real-world web design. Each “website” featured sections representing various tabs, allowing students to experience firsthand the importance of user-friendly design and clear content organization.
Nurturing Future Web Developers
More than just a design project, this activity sparked students’ entrepreneurial spirit and showed them how to bring ideas to life in a digital context. They showcased impressive creativity and problem-solving abilities, setting the stage for future projects.
Looking Ahead
We’re so proud of their innovative work and can’t wait to see what they create next in the world of web design!
