Robotics & Coding: Creating a better future at Allison Academy
At Allison Academy, we believe in the power of creativity and knowledge to shape the future of the world. Our Robotics and Coding classes provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge about managing modern technologies, create their own robotics from start to finish and explore the possibilities of coding. Our students built their robotics from scratch to represent their own personalities and styles, designing the robots freely to their own liking. Through the process of building a robot to their preference and coding actions to make the robot move, dance, or even go in circles, our students explore the endless possibilities of robotics and coding and apply learned concepts to bring their creations to life!
An active Environmental Club
Allison Academy’s young environmentalists meet weekly. Our incredible Environmental Club provides a distinctive opportunity for students to take an active role in protecting our environment. They help keep our garden growing, they take care of different types of plants and in this practical way, they learn about nature in the process. These activities help foster a connection between our students and nature, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of our environment and to understand the importance of protecting it.
Making imagination come to life throughout Art Classes
We believe in the power of creativity and art – Allison Academy’s students have the opportunity to discover and improve their artistic talent through exploring the world of art in the eponymous Classes! Our art classes help students express their creative side, get inspired, develop their artistic skills and gain the confidence to express their ideas through artworks. Once a week, after school, all art lovers and students gather together to learn more about art, as well as work on extra art projects.
Community and Pride: Second Honor Roll Breakfast at Allison Academy
The second marking period Honor Roll Breakfast was a great success thanks to the hard work of our students and staff – Ms. Carolyn was in charge of the breakfast and was responsible for preparing the delicious eggs and our senior volunteer students helped out, making sure that everyone had their desired meal and a beverage to accompany them. Everyone devoured the food until they were full and had great fun! Through our Honor Roll Breakfast, we hope to instill in our students a sense of pride and accomplishment and foster a spirit of camaraderie.
