Allison Academy students received their diplomas at a formal ceremony held on May 19th, 2021 at the North Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach, Florida.
The end of their secondary education was filled with tears, smiles and praise for countless achievements. At the end of this chapter in their education, the students are joyous to be entering a new and exciting stage, yet nostalgic about their time spent at Allison Academy.
Accolades and happy memories
The ceremony was marked by touching speeches given by the founder, Dr. Sarah Allison, in which she expressed gratitude to the students for their diligence and achievements that helped to raise the reputation of the school to a higher level and by the students who reminisced about their school experience and who thanked their professors for their patience and commitment to their intellectual and emotional development.
The highlight of the ceremony was the moment when Allison Academy graduates symbolically threw their graduation caps into the air. This officially marked the end of their thirteen year journey.
The graduation ceremony was attended by family, friends, faculty and staff of Allison Academy. Also, it was attended by many former students of Allison Academy, who came to support the graduates, share their university experiences, and visit their old teachers, all of which shows that their experience at our school was a highly positive one.
The feedback from our graduates is proof that Allison Academy is not just a school, but an encouraging, motivating, inspiring and friendly environment from which they have fond memories.
Melissa Quintana: I will keep in touch with all my teachers and classmates from Allison Academy. I know I can always come to them for advice and support, we laughed and cried together, sometimes both at the same time. This place helped me get to know myself, be proud of my origin and become the best version of myself. Our future successes are your legacy.
Aaron Rosenberg: I am very grateful to my teachers and everyone at Allison Academy for the wonderful educational experience. But most of all I am happy because I felt equal and accepted from my friends here, from the very first day I entered the classroom.
Mike Lebrun: I would like to thank Allison Academy for accepting me when I almost gave up my education. I would like to thank my teachers for making learning interesting. I learned a lot here and I am happy to say I am ready for college and I will study Business Administration.
Benton Jacques: Before Allison Academy some of the subjects lost my interest because they were presented to me as a job, not with creativity, imagination and inspiration. I am grateful to my teachers because here I regained my love for the arts and music. Thanks to them I even found the father figure I needed. I am happy to say I am going to study Medicine.
Future achievements of the graduates
Walking through their elementary school doors, they began a thirteen-year journey that is now coming to an end. Along the way they faced and overcame challenges from learning to tie their shoes and to tell time, to memorizing important scientific theories and the dates of important historical events. The academic and life lessons they have learned throughout the years have prepared them for future success. Our graduates will be attending prestigious universities across the United States and throughout the world. Congratulations on your achievements and best of luck in all of your future endeavors!
