Earlier this year, Mrs. Horowitz’s middle school and 9th grade English students were entered into an annual poetry contest held by Creative Communication. The winners of this contest are invited to publish their poetry. Only the best poems are selected to be included in their anthology – A Celebration of Poets.
A celebration of poetry at Allison Academy
As Mrs Horowitz stated: This is not a contest where every entry is invited to be published. I am proud to announce that all of our students who entered the contest were invited to publish their poems and our school will be recognized in the anthology as receiving A Writing Achievement Award. This honor is given to the top 10% of schools who entered the contest.
